Content from other services
Some lessons show YouTube videos and TradingView charts inside the app. When this content loads, YouTube (Google) and TradingView may collect data such as your IP address and device information under their own privacy policies.
3. App permissions
- Internet and network state, to load lessons and check your connection.
- Notifications, to send you updates. You can turn these off in your phone’s settings at any time.
- Photos and files: the app does not browse your gallery or storage. When you choose to attach an image or file, Android lets the app use only the item you pick.
The app does not access your location (GPS), contacts, SMS, call logs or microphone.
4. How we use personal data
We use personal data to:
- create and manage your account and let you sign in;
- verify your mobile number;
- provide lessons, videos, charts, calculators, homework and other features;
- check whether you can join the Learning Group;
- answer your support requests and review your homework;
- send notifications about the app, which you can turn off;
- show ads, which keep the app free;
- understand how the Services are used, fix crashes and make improvements;
- keep the Services secure and prevent fraud and misuse, such as one broker account being used for several app accounts; and
- comply with the law and respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell your personal data.
We process personal data with your consent, which you give when you create an account or send us a form, and where Indian law otherwise allows it, for example to comply with a legal obligation. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 9). Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect processing that already happened, but we may no longer be able to provide the Services to you.
5. Who we share personal data with
We share personal data only as described below.
| Who | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Google (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage) | Usage, device and crash data, account details, push tokens, app content and the files you upload | Analytics, crash reports, notifications, and storing app content and uploads |
| Google (AdMob) | Advertising ID, IP address, device information and ad interactions | Showing and measuring ads and preventing ad fraud. Google may also use this data for its own purposes, as explained in Google’s policy |
| 2Factor, our SMS provider in India | Your mobile number | Sending OTP messages |
| Our cloud hosting providers | Account data and content stored on our servers | Running our servers and databases |
| Formspree | What you enter in the account deletion form | Delivering your request to us |
| Cloudflare | Website request data | Hosting and protecting our website |
| Google (Gmail) | Emails you send us | Receiving and answering your emails |
We may also disclose personal data:
- to government authorities, courts or regulators when the law requires it;
- to a buyer or successor if our business is reorganised or sold, who must protect it as this policy describes; and
- to anyone else, if you ask us to or agree to it.
6. Where your data is stored
Our servers and some of our service providers are in India, and others, including Google, Formspree and Cloudflare, may process data in other countries. When personal data is transferred outside India, we do so as Indian law permits, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
7. How long we keep personal data
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active, and after that only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy or the law requires.
When you delete your account, we delete it along with the personal data linked to it: your profile, mobile numbers, email address, password, Learning Group details, homework, support messages and uploads, and push-notification token. Where our service providers hold copies for us, we ask them to delete them too.
We may keep limited information for longer where the law requires it, or where we need it for security, to prevent fraud or misuse, or to establish or defend legal claims. We keep it only as long as that purpose requires, then delete it. We may keep statistics that are aggregated or anonymised so they no longer identify you.
Data that Google collects for analytics, crash reports and ads is kept under Google’s own retention settings and policies.
8. How we protect personal data
We use reasonable security practices to protect personal data. Passwords are stored only in hashed form, access to personal data is limited to people who need it to run the Services, and our website and the Google services the app uses are reached over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of storing or sending data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
9. Your rights and choices
Under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

The Services are meant for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Other websites and apps
The Services link to websites and apps run by others, such as brokers, YouTube, Telegram and other social networks. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we may also let you know in the app.
